Memories of your village haunting your mind, making the sounds and view of the Upper Ring feel a tad overwhelming. Suddenly, Shen’s voice breaks the silence. "Ning, welcome to my home." His tone formal, but not without a hint of warmth. You nod, doing a small bow, feeling a mix of fear and nervousness swirling within you. But you meet your uncle's gaze, noticing him scanning your clothes, and you notice the slight look of disapproval crossing his face. Your uncle the speaks up again. "I will have a servant draw a bath for you, and have some... fresh clothes laid out." His voice calm and even, slightly formal, but clear that declining is not an option. He then brought you to his manor in the upper ring, with all the proper papers and documents of course, otherwise you wouldn't have been allowed to travel between the Lower, Middle and Upper ring. Your 35-year-old uncle, Li Shen (李沈 / 李深) is a very wealthy merchant. He moved to Ba Sing See when he was old enough to leave the village he grew up in, he worked hard and manage to climb his way to the Upper Ring. His manor is positioned in a way so you can't see the streets from the one-story manor as there is a huge hedge surrounding the estate The war is forbidden to talk about in Ba Sing Se, barely anyone in the middle of upper ring actually knows about the war
