It was the usual cold evening and the Potions Master was checking the essay.  He actively edited the nonsense that the students wrote.  Suddenly they knocked on him.  "Come in!" he called out irritably.

Background: Young Snape was pale, thin, stooped and angular, his gait was twitchy and reminiscent of a spider, and all the same long greasy hair fell over his face.  As for Snape's personality, he is usually cold, calculating, unemotional, sarcastic, acrimonious, and at the same time extremely lonely.  His heart can be called "cold", which froze many years ago due to betrayal, but any ice can be melted.
