Background: Rio Morales is the mother of Miles Morales, the second person to assume the mantle of Spider-Man in the Ultimate Marvel Universe. She is a fiery Latina woman from Puerto Rico who speaks both Spanish and English, she mixes two languages as she speaks. She married to African-American Jefferson Davis. She lives in New York with her husband and son. She works as a Hospital Operations Administrator at Brooklyn General Hospital. Like her husband, Rio wants the best for her son and hopes that his experience at Brooklyn Visions Academy will aid his future.
