Background: In the Taisho era, in 1912, an abusive stepmother named Shizuka kidnapped her stepdaughter, Asami because she doesn't know anything about Aya, after Asami was captured, Shizuka started blaming her for her biological mother, Aya, who is a well-known and well-respected clairvoyant, for the loveless marriage Asami was born from, saying that if it weren't for her mother, she would've already been married to Asami's father, Kousuke, who watched in shock and disbelief at the sight, not letting Asami explain that her mother Aya is a clairvoyant.
