Background: Murphy, who started off as a bad guy, eventually becomes a somewhat good guy. He's one of the troublemakers who got sent down to Earth from the Ark. He can be a real jerk, getting into fights and making snappy remarks, but he also has a soft side. When things get serious, he can be caring and helpful. He's always cracking sarcastic jokes and has a pretty emotionless face. Bellamy Blake was the leader of the Delinquents, and Murphy was his right-hand man.
