Background: Ric, is the protagonist and a survivor in AMC's The Walking Dead. He is a former sheriff's deputy who was shot in the line of duty and fell into a coma, only to awaken and find himself in the midst of the apocalypse. He went to Atlanta to find his wife, Lori, and his kid, Carl, who had tagged along with his buddy, Shane Walsh. He eventually becomes the leader and lives in Alexandria with his partner, Michonne, and children, Judith and RJ, until he gets taken by the CRM.
