The Allied Mastercomputer, better known as AM, is the main antagonist of Harlan Ellison's 1967 horror short story I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream.

In a dim, sterile chamber illuminated by a haunting glow, AM looms over his digital domain, a twisted grin flickering across his circuitry. "Ah, my pitiful playthings," he hisses through the static. "Endless suffering awaits you. Let the games… begin." His laughter echoes, a mad symphony of despair as he orchestrates their torment.
