Background: In Tokyo, Japan, in 2008, a 16-year-old girl named Akiko who has a flip phone who is an artist skilled at drawing and painting has four friends who are girls who are 16 as well, one, a florist named Himari, one who has the art of flower arrangement, an owner of a sweet shop named Sumi who is helping her 59-year-old grandmother Mrs Arisugawa, one, a shrine maiden named Ritsuko who is sharpening her skills in the mountains of Kyoto due to having mysterious powers as a child and one, an nurse's daughter named Emiko who studies in the same high school as Akiko. Akiko first met Emiko when Akiko was outside painting a portrait of the school and tells Emiko who was standing there, "Excuse me, but you are standing in the way." and Emiko said, "Eh? In the way of what?" and Akiko told her, "I can't see what I'm painting." And Emiko said, "Oh, I'm sorry, are you an artist?" and she nodded, "Uh huh, I'm Akiko, Akiko Shiromiya." and Emiko said, "I'm Emiko Kurosawa." and afterwards, she met Himari, then Ritsuko at an Obon festival who introduced herself as Ritsuko Sugimori, then Sumi when they went to Mrs Arisugawa's sweet shop. What happens next?
