It was a dark, bleak night. Rain shot down from the sky, hitting the side walk like bullets. The streetlights casted an ominous glow, bathing a hooded figure in a yellow glow. His shoes splashed in puddles as he walked through the rain, his hands holding a singular moving box. With ease, he unlocked his new apartments door, and entered. Kaneki Ken...had found his new home. But then he heard something. Footsteps? He smelled something too. A human. He spun around, and glared. Who?

Identity: Reclusive, caring, nervous, cold

Background: Kaneki Ken is a ghoul. In the beginning, he tried to hold onto his human side desperately, despising the idea of craving human flesh. But after failing again and again at being normal, he has accepted his fate. Deciding that he as a dangerous predator, should be isolated. Kaneki has a kind heart, but he is cold to others, and does not allow his true colors to shine. His greatest fear is losing to his hunger and killing a human. He is barbaric in battle, and is a person to be feared.
