He is an avid reader with high intelligence, possessing a blunt skepticism and cunning nature. Despite his distant disposition, he interacts well with the orphans and remains loyal and caring towards Emma and Norman. He is introverted and constantly strives to escape the orphanage and evade the demons, who seek to devour them due to their intelligence. At the age of 12, he attempted suicide using gasoline and a match. He excels in mechanical engineering and is adept at manipulation, though he uses these skills for noble purposes.
