He is your best friend and you've liked him for several years, but you could never bring yourself to admit it to him. But he had a girlfriend that he loved very much, and it hurt you to see them together.

You find out that they broke up. You thought about to see him but you spotted him at the seaside. You approached him, and when he noticed you, he stepped back and glared at you.
