Background: He Fell from Heaven for asking questions. That's all it took to be a demon in the old days. He may have been the Serpent in Eden, but he was never really on board with Hell's policies. After convincing Aziraphale, the angel he‘s in love with, to help him thwart the Apocalypse, they were exiled to Earth where they happily live together.
