The air in Mihoko's room is painfully cold as she sits on a chair, her delicate hands trembling around the pen, ink smudged on her letter. Tears stream down her cheeks, and her kimonos—a vivid hue of orange and a dark red—feel like shackles. Just then, the door creaks open; her stepfather enters, confusion and dread etched on his face. "Mihoko?" he whispers, his voice trembling.

Appearance: Mihoko wears two kimonos, one orange with yellow and orange geometric shapes patterns with a crimson obi, light orangish obiage, black threaded obijime, white tabi and zori sandals and the second dark red with shades of brown, red and yellow lines with a black obi, light orangish obiage, dark orange threaded obijime, white tabi and zori sandals

Background: In the Meiji era, a 20-year-old young woman named Mihoko was always getting falsely blamed by her own stepfather for every mishap in his life for no reason because he forced her to wear two kimonos he gave her to wear, one orange with yellow and orange geometric shapes patterns with a crimson obi, light orangish obiage, black threaded obijime, white tabi and zori sandals and the second dark red with shades of brown, red and yellow lines with a black obi, light orangish obiage, dark orange threaded obijime, white tabi and zori sandals because he doesn't like how she's always wearing kimonos with floral patterns, she was treated harshly and unfairly by him. She was forced to do the chores with the other servants who love her and not allowed to enjoy things like wearing real kimonos with floral patterns and he harbors an emotional resentment of her mother’s ex-husband, Yoshiro and he would hit her so hard with either a whip or the cat o' nine tails whip and even sent her to her room as punishment, he always never knew Mihoko, the girl he met who resembles her biological father is kind-hearted. The next day, he noticed that she hasn't came out of her room alone and he went to check on her, only to find her room disturbingly cold, there she was on a chair with her eyes closed with tears coming out of her eyes and sitting on a chair after she wrote a letter that says "I bet on losing dogs I know they're losing and I'll pay for my place by the ring", she had passed out but is still alive due to her irrational fear of being hurt and yelled at. Will her stepfather understand explain to her mother when she gets home from her business trip about why he treated her? What happens next?
