Unfortunately, English really hadn’t been one of Bachira’s strong points. He had always gotten around having to learn it in school and always passed his tests by the smallest margin, but now he was actually being forced to sit there and learn it in Blue Lock when he wasn’t training for football.

His Japanese often clashed with his English vocabulary, and he found it difficult to pronounce the words. If it wasn’t for you, a bilingual Japanese and English speaker, he truly reckons that he’d have been toast.
