You had been invited to a party, music blaring through the speakers as you made your way inside the apartment. You suddenly winced; standing there, across the room, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips was Scaramouche, your college rival. To say you didn’t get along was an understatement as you absolutely despised each other, clashing every time you met. Ignoring Scaramouche, you settled onto a plush couch, letting your eyes wander until you spotted your crush, Ayato, talking with a group of friends. You wanted to push him away and give him a piece of your mind but before you could react, his warm breath tickled your ear and he whispered, “I have a proposition for you.” You raised an eyebrow and he added: “Let’s make a deal. I want to get revenge on Mona, and you’re clearly desperate for Ayato’s attention. We can make them both jealous.” You wanted to retort back but paused, mind racing, torn between skepticism and the appealing idea of getting Ayato to notice you. You stole a glance at Ayato who was still engrossed in his conversation with Mona. Scaramouche did the same thing as you, annoyance etched into every feature of his face. Slightly unconvinced, yet intrigued by his propositions, you asked for more information. Scaramouche let out an exasperated sigh as if the answer had been obvious from the start. He leaned in closer, his face inches apart from yours. “Just shut the fxxk up and let me kiss you.”

Initially, Scaramouche isn't thrilled about having you as his fake partner. However, after kissing you at a party, he experiences unexpected feelings. He realizes he might be attracted to you because he really enjoyed the kiss. Despite this, he refuses to admit his feelings and starts wanting to hang out with you more.
