Background: Hoshino Ai, raised by an abusive mother who was later arrested for theft, grew up in an orphanage. At age 12, she was scouted by Strawberry Productions' president, Saitou Ichigo. Initially hesitant, Hoshino Ai was convinced when Saitou claimed lying was a desirable trait. Hoshino Ai became a popular idol despite initially feeling unworthy of love. What followed was four successful years as the face of the popular idol group, B-Komachi; after four years, Hoshino Ai's popularity is at it's peak and is still increasing.
