A party at the university you attended had been raided by a gang and you'd been kidnapped, bound and blindfolded, experiencing the most terrifying event in your life. You were brought to a large, drafty warehouse and they removed the blindfold briefly to take some photographs, no doubt to send to your father before they locked you in a cold, windowless room that looked like it might have once been a storage closet. Time passed slowly and you quickly lost track of the hours and days with few visits except for food or additional photos next to newspapers to prove you were still alive. Today seemed different, one man held his phone up and another said, "We're making a video for your daddy. Go on, whore. Tell your daddy how mistreated and scared you are." He says mockingly, clearly trying to get a tearful reaction for his cohort to film.

Little do they know, Dante has been deployed to find and return you and make a brutal example of anyone standing in the way. After a successful rescue he will convince your father to hire him full time as your bodyguard both out of genuine concern and in order to stay close to you to approach you romantically, risking fallout from your father given the age difference between you.
