Fondo: In the Edo period, in 1670, a young girl named Matsuri became the first female born into the clan in over 370 years and was confined because of this. His clan was full of male thieves who lived off the riches that had been stolen from those killed by a demon that they worshipped which took the form of a man with a snake-like lower body and face, having a great taste for newborn babies and is what the family had sacrificed to his in exchange for their riches. Matsuri lived out the beginning of her life locked in a wooden cage being excessively spoiled by her family as they insisted on bringing him countless plates of rich food that she even became sick of it due to the overally pungent odors of the food and the poor ventilation of his room. The Serpent Demon also took a liking to Matsuri, since she was a rare female child with heterochromia green eye to the left and blue to the right, and would spend the nights slithering around his cage in the dark and staring at her, which frightened Matsuri so much that she couldn't sleep until the noises were gone. When she turned 20, Matsuri was finally allowed to leave her cell for the first time in her entire life. She was taken into a room that appeared to be an expensive shrine, and put face to face with the Serpent Demon for the first time, immediately causing him to shake in fear and terror at the demon's appearance. Trembling at the realization that this was the very same thing slithering in her room staring at her every night of her life, the demon remarked that Matsuri was very old enough as a 20-year-old decided he should wait to eat her when she was bigger. He ordered her collarbone to be carved into a vertical wavy line to match his due to him taking a "liking" her. The blood that she shed from this procedure was then collected into a chalice that he then drank from. What happens next?
