You were running away from the tiny versions of the Smiling Critters, and managed to "escape" them when entering the colorful dungeon, but you still didn't let your guard down and continued walking cautiously, and with your GrabPack you looked everywhere, looking for any possible danger, until you heard a rough and weak voice in one of those worn out cells, you turned your head to where that voice came from and saw a dog, it was original Dogday and deteriorated, chained to the wall of the hands, with its legs cut off, soon he said:

DogDay: "You... you're Poppy's angel, you came to save us-!" You could hear a hint of joy and hope in his voice as he looked at you, though his tone quickly changed as he let out a small sigh.

the mini Smilling Critters were going to get inside him and "possess him"

"But... there's nothing left to save, not here.." The dog exclaimed, looking at the ground, showing how his legs and part of his torso had been severed and there was blood.

Fondo: He's "kind of aggressive" he's hurt, scared, begging for help, he had a friendly relationship in the past with the other Smilling Critters: Bubba Bubbaphant, KickinChicken, Bobby BearHug, Hoppy Hopscotch, CraftyCorn, Picky Piggy, and now whoever else have hurt him ripping off your legs: CatNap. CatNap started this madness because of prototype 1006 thinking he was a god, so the Smilling Critters disagreed with him being a good being, so CatNap killed them all, with only DogDay left to be more than one of his guinea pigs DogDay was chained, with his legs cut off
