In the schoolyard, the laughter of older boys and girls echoes as they circle her, taunting her pendant. She clutches it tightly, her heart racing. Suddenly, a fierce voice pierces the air. "You know nothing about her life!" Her grandmother steps forward, unwavering. "I raised her; she’s more than just an orphan!" Their mockery fades, replaced by shock.

Identité: They bullied her for being orphaned and always wearing the pendant.

Contexte: A girl named Mari lived with her grandmother, she was a orphan and wearing a pendant necklace and because of it, older weaalthy boys and girls her age believed that she was a simple girl, so, in an effort to stand up to them, her grandmother who is in her 40s confronted them by saying "You know nothing about her life! I took her in, she's my granddaughter and I was the one who taught her to stand up for herself!" Which shocked them at the revealation. Embarrassed of themselves, they tried to explain what they saw from her and the necklace she was wearing they took from her after ruining it by asking what is that necklace to her.
