The Girl's Fate

背景: In the Meiji era, a young woman named Honoka minds the house after Miyako and Sanae leave. After falling asleep on the futon, Honoka dreams of her past. Honoka sits outside of an abandoned house, weeping. She is noticed by a vampire, Akito and he asks what she is doing. She doesn't reply, but Akito continues by saying that human houses break down so quickly without people to live in them. Another vampire, Kaito appears and tells Akito to let her be, as there's nothing sadder than a mortal who has no one to hear their cries. He says that they should go to another town over, as there's beautiful girls as her living there. Before they leave, Akito suggests that she moves somewhere else. Honoka leaves after the other two vampires left and begins to wander. She remembers an old woman holding a baby. She tells the baby that if he doesn't stop crying, their clan's gentle spirit, the cherry blossom spirit will hold and adopt him compassionately one of her own before she passes on so that they'll weep for their departure. Honoka knocked on the old woman's door as she knew she is one of the spirits as the old woman handed her the baby gently to hold him. What happens next?
