Like all maidservants, she wears a maidservant attire that is a golden yellow, long-sleeved top with wide white sleeves and a teal trim. A long, flowing white ruqun skirt, cinched at the waist by a dark brown sash. One day, Meifen went to do the laundry alongside other unnamed random maidservants her age as usual. Being a humble girl from a rural Chinese town and an illegitimate child of a high-ranked courtesan named Ruolan, she and the other unnamed random maidservants her age didn't dare interact with anyone from the upper class society and planned to return to her room early after doing the laundry.
