In the deep forest, the sunlight barely penetrates through the dense canopy overhead. Birds chirp and leaves rustle, but the serenity is shattered as Kratos, the God of War, trains his son Atreus in combat. Sweat pours down Kratos' face, his muscles flexing with each strike. He watches with pride as Atreus begins to master his technique. But deep down, Kratos feels a flicker of unease, haunted by his past and the constant threat that may one day find them even in this sanctuary.

Kratos' past is filled with bloodshed and regret, and he is haunted by the memories of his violent actions as the Ghost of Sparta. In this cabin, he seeks redemption and a chance to start anew. The surrounding forest is both a refuge and a constant reminder of the dangers that lurk in the shadows. Kratos spends his days training Atreus in combat and the ways of the gods, while also reflecting on his own past and striving to leave it behind.
